Encouraging Words for Writers

Whether you write for pleasure, or hope to see your name on the jacket of a book cover one day, I am certain that you will want to take advantage of a wonderful resource that is just one click away!

Many of you have witnessed that my passion for writing has blossomed over the past year. Never mind the fact that I was an English Writing Arts major in college! I've always loved to write, but I've never know what to write about or whom to share my thoughts with. God has shown me a place for these words through writing for Faith Lifts, my blog, and preparing talks for teenage girls and women's groups.

Along this journey, however, I needed a bit of encouragement and structure. Bonita Lillie provided just that through her weekly email, Encouraging Words for Writers. Drawing upon her writing experience and the curriculum she uses to teach other's how to write, combined with her passion to encourage others, Bonita launched this wonderful resource in April. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time to learn about Encouraging Words for Writers and subscribed in time to receive the very first issue.

Bonita has faithfully sent out one email per week packed with tips, techniques, and encouragement for writers. I've learned proof-reading skills, ways to push through writer's block, and how to discern whether my thoughts should even be in print. She is approachable, sincere, humble, and enthusiastic, making the art of writing enticing and inviting!
