Psalm 71:14-15
14 But as for me, I will always have hope;
I will praise you more and more.
15 My mouth will tell of your righteousness,
of your salvation all day long,
though I know not its measure.
For this week's WFW, I am inspired by the verse that Tricia selected for use her blog from Psalm 71. As I worked on her design, I kept thinking about this Scripture, which was very unfamiliar to me. The part that struck me was "though I will not know its measure." I've wondered if it is referring to righteousness or salvation, yet in either regard, it is true. In my little human mind, I can hardly fathom the righteousness of God nor the power of His salvation in it's fullest measure. This verse leaves me awed, of God. I am thankful to the Lord that He brought Tricia's blog into my life to work on, and left me with a new perspective of Himself.

Thanks for stopping by WFW.

Hi, Elisa. I love your new look!
And, this verse... WOW! It really made me stop and think, too, as I read it and then the insights that you shared.
Happy WFW!
My mouth will tell of your righteousness,
of your salvation all day long,
though I know not its measure.
I love this verse. "though I know not its measure." I can't begin to know the measure of the salvation I've been given! But I won't stop talking about it though I can't begin to fully fathom it.
Thanks for sharing this and the picture is beautiful!

Hey Elisa
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on this verse, "though I know not its measure" is the part that really jumped out at me also the first time I read it.
I first came across this verse (actually Ps. 71:14-18) when I was preparing to teach my first ladies Bible study. On the first night of the class I read this verse as an opening, it was as if God had given me the mission statement for why I would even embark on the journey of teaching His Word to others. It has been special to me ever since!
Thanks for sharing it, and for the wonderful job on my makeover, I just absolutely love it!!
Not really blogging right now, but just had to say I love that new design! I just happen to be going to that spot this summer! Yeah I can't wait! You do such a nice job on your designs!
