Extravagant Grace Designs is essentially a graphic design, marketing, and editorial consulting endeavor rooted one principle and guided by one motto:

To use the gifts and talents God has entrusted to me, by His grace, to inspire others to use the gifts and talents He has bestowed on them for His glory.

Motto

Extravagant Grace Designs isn't about making money, or making a name. It isn't about followers or stats. It is simply about inspiring one another. For that reason alone, there are both consulting services and design services offered here. And to go the extra step of faith, the consulting services are free, if you are willing to wait in the "Consulting Queue."

While my time and talent is valuable, I am trusting the Lord to provide the resources needed. I will be very selective in the clients I take on, trusting the Lord to provide the exact time and inspiration to help others move forward in their own their ministries and passions in a way that brings Him honor. For those who need immediate consulting services, you can trump the line for a $25 fee.

Professionally Speaking...
I've been in the field of graphic design, writing, editing, and marketing since graduating from college in 1996 with a Bachelors Degree in English Writing Arts and Art. I've used my formal training in various capacities, from designing and maintaining a websites and blogs, to making invitations for events and parties. I've also put together endless newsletters, ads, logos, and brochures. Many of my designs include my own photography.

Approach to Design...
I like to approach each design first by finding out from the client their vision, personality, and unique gifts through a series of conversations and questions. As I begin the design process, I explore color, shape, and content to combine the elements of traditional design with the client's needs in the forefront of my mind. When it comes to producing a final project, I look at it holistically, asking the question: Does this work meet the need of the client in a creative and practical way, standing apart for it's uniqueness yet not compromising usability?

My Life Inspires Design
My passion as designer is not limited to graphic work. You'll find my creative juices being satisfied in many areas, and as a result, inspired by those roles, too. Whether it is as a mom to four imaginative and thoughtful kids, as wife to a supportive husband, as a friend and sister, or even as mentor to teen girls. Each part of my life is woven together by the Creator, and what comes out from my fingertips is truly an expression from Him.
