What is a beautiful woman?

This is one of my all time favorite quotes! I've just typed it up to post in my bedroom and stick into my Bible, and so I thought I'd share it with you...

“But remember, for all your adult life you’ll be a woman. And how you live your life as a woman, all by yourself before God, is what makes the real you. Nothing on the exterior can touch or change that precious inner sanctuary -- your heart, His dwelling place -- unless you let it. And God, who loves you very much, has tailor made all your outer life -- your circumstances, your relationships -- to pressure you into becoming that beautiful woman He’s planned for you to be.”

Elisa, this is such a perfect topic for this time of year, when we all have high expectations and are likely to be disappointed. I was thinking on this just yesterday, and here are some of my thoughts:
There are many many days when we feel let down and disappointed over our relationships. It’s difficult to know the best way to react whenever my spouse, friends or family don’t understand me and in fact have no empathy or regard for me. I don’t know whether or not to hide my hurt feelings or put them on the table. When do I just let an issue go, and how do I get my needs met when they are not even recognized? What does the Bible have to say about these things?
I’m remembering some verses: “All things work together for good to those who love the Lord and who are called according to His purposes”
“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”
“forgive seventy times seven”
“The Lord will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him”
“Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto thee.”
“judge not that you be not judged”
“The Lord is my Shepherd”

From the preceeding verses, I can conclude that:
Whatever happens, it’s gonna work out for my good.
I’m not to react to poor treatment by others, but to live by the standard that Jesus laid out for me.
It’s not my job to judge.
I am first and above all other things, to look for and promote God’s kingdom on earth (in word and deed)
Realize that I am not alone and not without direction or guidance because the Lord is my Shepherd
