Living Proof Ministries and Beth Moore have provided a perfect opportunity to incorporate Scripture memory into my focus for this year. I am now officially a member of the Siesta Scripture Memory Team. Everyone can play by selecting a new verse on the 1st and 15th of every month, and leaving a comment at the Living Proof Ministries site. I'll do that, plus post my verse here to share with you! So here's my first verse, which is also my theme verse for the year. I'll be putting it on my sidebar, too, in order to keep it in front of me. Feel free to share it!

This is my first verse!
Copy this code for the Romans 15:13 button,
if you want to use this Scripture, too...
For the other verses I'll be selecting this year,

Thank you, Lisa! The "8 in '08" post helped me to start '08 in the right direction and I knew I needed to check here today. :-)Chrissy
I love reading your blog(coming out of lurking). I to am participating in the LPM memory verse! I really like your verse and how you do it! I amy save it for the future to memorize!
Thanks Lisa! I am more than convinced that I "chose"(more led to) the right verse. Last night in my nightly devotional it was the same verse. :)
Thanks for the buttons Lisa! I am doing it too, so having the one button is great! How do you make buttons anyway? I have a picture of my verse for 2009 on my blog and would like to make it into a button possibly.
I have decided to join in and meorize scripture!!!
Thanks for the very cool button!
