I'm obviously fighting a virus. Yesterday's headache sent me right back to bed and I slept most of the day. I'm still fighting it this morning, but feeling a bit better, praise the Lord. I did sleep in this morning, and my quiet time will have to wait until the children nap later today, but I was able to sneak in a quick devotional while in the bathroom. A mom's true office space. Here's the Scripture and thought from Ellen Bank Elwell in "One Year Devotions for Moms" that deeply encouraged me,
Hebrews 3:14
For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.
Let's persevere, in the little and big things, in illness and in health, our life and in our faith, together."Sometimes we and our children find it easier to persevere in the lesser things of life, like a game of basketball, a hobby, or exercise. We overlook the most important perseverance of all--our perseverance of faith."
Because of Him,

Praying you get well soon! I have a basket in my bathroom with books for those quiet moments... it is amazing how much reading I can get done in there, with the door locked of course :)
Blessings!
