3:30 am rising time last night, when I heard my littlest daughter cry out in the bathroom. I ran to her only to find tears of shock that she needed to go to the potty. Whoowee!!! I can handle that, and praised God all the way back to bed that she wasn't sick. I was surprised at how wide awake I felt, and was even tempted (for a moment) to stay awake, as I crawled back into bed.
Instead, I went back to sleep expecting to rise at 5 whatever am. Well, that is only possible if one remembers to set their alarm! I didn't wake until 6:40 am, after hearing my husband's alarm sound off, scrambled out of bed, grabbed a short quiet time with the Lord, and now I'm off and running for a full day ahead! I'm still thankful for a few minutes in Scripture and a certain reminder of what I need to do today...
Psalm 141:8
But my eyes are fixed on you, O Sovereign LORD...

I'm glad your daughter only had to go potty. It sure is horrible when you hear your child cry out and go to them afraid of what you might fine. Thank goodness she's okay!
Same experience for me this morning- well, almost. Hubby is at the hospital with some stomach issue, and last night while he was in pain I kept thinking, "But I need to get to bed or I won't wake up at 5:00". Praise the Lord, He woke me up (sans alarm clock) at 6:30 this morning giving me both time with Him and enough sleep to tackle the day.
Amazing.
