Mom, I Dare You - Challenge 22

Extravagant Grace

We're going to continue down the path of training up our children for today's dare. Yesterday, we began the process of thinking before we speak. Today, I want us to take some quiet time, hopefully with our spouse, to devote to some thinking (and praying) time, seeking answers to these questions:
  • What is our purpose in parenting?
  • Do we want good kids or Godly kids?
  • Do we want our children to just be nice or to love others sincerely?
  • Are we comfortable with them being different and unique, or are we trying to get them to fit a certain mold?
  • What is the most important thing for them to learn on a daily basis? Why?
  • How am I going about teaching this?
Tomorrow, we will pick up with a few more questions. In the meantime, enjoy the opportunity to love on your children with a few more kisses and hugs while knowing that you are investing well into their lives.

Because of Him,

These are great questions, sweet friend! Thanks for making me think about them, not just assuming that's the direction I am heading...I want to be intentional!

These few questions alone could really transform the direction a child's/family's life takes.
