The Lord is impressing upon my heart a deep need to trust in Him and in His promises. A short, but powerful conversation with my husband a few weeks ago brought to light how difficult it is for me to trust. It has little to do with who I put my trust in, and much more to do with trying to protect myself from hurt. But God is calling me to trust Him with all my heart, and to pour out all the broken, fearful places to Him. This verse, combined with last week's (Proverbs 3:5-6), reminds me that He is worthy of my trust and equally trustworthy.

I love promise verses. I need to start memorizing them.

I love the "at all times" part of this Scripture!
