BLESSED: A New Vision for Women's Ministry, Part 1

I am excited to share with you a bit more about BLESSED. In this post, you'll find the vision, or essential the mission of a women's ministry team guided by the BLESSED vision. The next post, will be more of the nuts and bolts!

BLESSED is a vision for women’s ministry that inspires women to realize the blessing they have received in Christ, challenging them to grow in knowing Jesus intimately, and in turn, pour out that blessing on others by making Him known.

BLESSED is guided by a series of Biblical principles and verses intended to grow women in their relationship with Jesus as they fulfill their role in the body of Christ.

BLESSED stands for Belong, Love, Encourage, Share, Serve, Equip, and Disciple. Each word represents a particular verse intended to train women in applying the Word to ministry and personal life.

With a BLESSED vision for women's ministry, everything planned, prayed about, and offered seeks to lead women to the heart of God by offering sound Bible studies; fellowship events replete with worship, prayer, the Word, as well as the message of Salvation; and a challenge for women to serve using their God given gifts to meet the needs of the body of Christ and the world around them.
