For My Holy, Holy, Holy Sisters!

First Baptist Gals, and Tapestry included, welcome to Extravagant Grace!

Let me just say, you are such an amazing group of sisters-in-Christ. Thank you so much for letting me minister to you this weekend and share the message of Holy Habits. I know God is using His Word to transform us from the inside out and I can't wait to see the result. Remember your identity, always. You are not just a gal. You are God's daughter through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. You are marked with the Holy Spirit and take on His fundamental attribute, holiness.

But you need to live holy lives, too. Make time for the Word this week. Devote yourself to Christ in every way. Don't forget to take another Divine Date! Look for new ways to be concerned for the body. Surrender to the trial, and remain under it for God's splendor to be displayed to a watching world!

And of course, don't forget to do our little thing called Holy Habits: put your hands on your head...and take captive every thought...on you heart, and let God transform it to flesh...raise those hands in worship and sacrifice...to those knees in service administering God's grace...and back on your beautiful feet to spread the Good News.

I will always love you for who you are and your love demonstrated to me. I will continue to pray for you and your church, and I covet your prayers...as the Lord leads you to pray. Keep in touch!

Daryl left me with this verse from Isaiah, and isn't is just perfect! God has blessed all of us this weekend with His transforming truth:

Isaiah 41:9

I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, "You are my servant; I have choosen you and have not rejected you."
Thank you, Lord!

And as I said all weekend, the study of holiness is never one we will complete. I read in Luke 2:75 this morning a verse that never struck me before. God promises to "...enable us to serve him without fear in holiness, and righteousness before him all our days."

Go, my sweet sisters, and live holy lives today, because God has equipped you to do such a thing and to be holy, because He is holy.

With deep love,

Lisa,

Thank you for sharing with us this weekend. I was sorry that we were not able to say goodbye before we had to leave to get home on Saturday night. I appreciate the time you spent with us for the two lessons, and look forward to getting a recap on lesson four from one of the ladies who was there.

Thank you! Michaela

I love how you taught them a few lessons to remind them to live holy lives. This will help me too Lisa. I'm going to write this down about touching our heads and hearts. It's a great word picture for each morning.

Blessings,
Debbie

Hi Lisa,
It has been awhile since I have visited my blog friends, I remember quite some time ago you were posting on holy habits, and joining you. Just love the message the Lord has given you! What an encouragement. Holiness has been dear to my heart in my walk with the Lord, and I have a passion to encourage others to "come out from among them and touch no unclean thing". To expose God's holiness with my life.

Holy means so many things...pure, distinct, high or above, sanctified, set apart...I pray the Lord will continue to spread the word through you, and that the girls who hear will be encouraged and fired up! Blessings!
Kathy
