I love making homemade play dough with my kids. We fix a new batch every once in a while, play with it until it is old, toss it, and then make it again.
Finding a good recipe makes all the difference, so I want to share this one with you. It is fab! Make a double batch and keep kids of all ages occupied creatively for the next few days!
Homemade Play DoughBecause the simple things matter!
1 cup flour
1 cup warm water
2 teaspoons cream of tarter
1 teaspoon oil
1/4 cup salt
food coloring, optional
Mix all ingredients (add food coloring last). Stir over medium heat until smooth. Remove from pan, let cool slightly, and knead until blended and smooth. Store in a plastic bag or airtight container when cooled.

I used to make play dough when my children were little. Have you ever made flubber? That's always fun too.
When you get the chance, I have something for you at Following 31.
Happy Thanksgiving!
