God actually pricked my heart with this verse over six months ago, as I began working on the BLESSED materials for our women's ministry at church and searched for a "b" verse that resonated with our focus. What began as an investigation into the blessing of belonging to God led to a transforming journey of seeing my personal identity grow tremendously in Christ. Each time I studied the verse, I grew to believe it as true, seeing that I not only belong to God, but I am also chosen by Him, holy, and with a distinct purpose of declaring His praise for having brought me out of darkness and into His wonderful light.
What better time to do just that! Let's go forth sharing our Savior in a holy new way this season!
