About 24 Verses

Photobucket
As part of my mission to live intentionally in 2010, I am continuing to focus on becoming a woman of the Word. I began this Scripture Memory journey with the Living Proof Ministry Siesta Scripture Memory Team in 2009, and plan to keep a good thing rolling on by memorizing 24 new Scripture verses this year.
If LPM starts up again, we can just join in with them. If not, I'm happy to host a check-in on the 1st and 15th of every month. Simply pick a verse to meditate on, share it in a comment or via your own post, and practice committing it to heart. As Beth Moore recommends, I also use spiral bound index cards to keep track of my 24.

Let's become women of the Word together, as we live intentionally before the Lord this year!

Were you able to attend the Celebration? I was there but found your blog through ANOTHER siesta. She had your blinky on her side bar. I'm not sure I will be as diligent with it this year but I would love to at least pick verses to focus on still! thanks for keeping it going.
Here is my blog if you want to come visit:

I really like this! I must admit I haven't been very good at memorizing God's Word, lack the discipline! But with this focus and "intentional" approach, I really feel this will worl. Looking at the dates, I see that I'm late! (do you think "Jesus wept" can count as a memory verse? LOL)

Thanks for doing this!
