Yes, yes, yes, Lisa! You are on the same page I am. In my mind, humility is an essential part of the process. If we can't be humble before the Lord, and others, we can't get to the grace part.

In my mind, grace is the end piece. It's the arms of God wrapped around us. But we have to put ourselves there, in His lap. In order to do so, we need to admit our sin and be humble enough to say we messed up and need Him, our Lord. Does that make sense?

I'm so glad to be sharpened by your thoughts and that you are on this journey, too. Yes, I will pray for you right now...

Lord, I ask that you would meet Lisa exactly where she is and speak to her heart about humility and grace. Father, I thank you that you provide us all the instruction we need in your Word. I pray, Lord, that you would speak to her directly and encourage her in the process. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Wouldn't you say humility comes with this as well? I think of Grace as getting something we don't deserve, and when that happens I feel humbled. I 'get' the humbled part, but wrapping my thoughts around Grace is not easy for me. It's just not 'clicking' for me yet. I'll be studying up on this. Thank you Elisa. Pray for me in this.
